I'm bringing back the funny to the blog. Long-time readers will remember my funny, others can check the archives. Funny is now retroactive throughout recent posts listed below... re-check them if you like. Anyway...
PACKING. As JCS (which if you haven't seen you MUST SEE) is winding down this week in loverly Pennsylvania, I am packing up my troubles in my old kit bag, or used blue Dodge Intrepid, to begin the trek to Florida for my next gig. I'll be stopping to visit old haunts in Richmond VA and a couple of other places on the way, so if I haven't already talked to you and you're on the way, give me a shout.
I'm going to miss doing JCS, and it's been a good run with the Prather Family of Theatres, but it'll also be nice to have a change of scenery. Hopefully, I'll return here at some point - perhaps for Beauty and the Beast next year? (That was for you, Brian. Not subliminal, but I have not the technology for that.)
Figuring out what gig I was going to do next was a bit tough this time around, and it's hard to find people who give good advice about that kind of thing. I think I did what was right and what will be best in the long run. Maybe. No sense second-guessing.
So... let me know if you're coming to JCS this week, and I'll step out after the show to say hi.
On the road as of Saturday night, after our post-show closing night cabaret...
