This weekend, when you're making your movie plans, GO SEE HELLBOY. You may not know what the hell it is, the ads may have confused you, you may think that what you perceive the film to be, without having seen it, is beneath your taste.

It isn't. If you've never heard of or read the brilliant, pop-art work by its creator, Mike Mignola, you don't know what you're missing. Check it out. Shades of HP Lovecraft, classic film noir, Kolchak the Night Stalker, and more classic dark European and world legends than you can shake an ankh at.

And for the love of Joe Don Baker, DO NOT go see WALKING TALL.
